Dealing with Pro West Solar did an excellent job. From the personnel in the office to the installation crew, they all did an excellent job. I looked at other installations in my area and the job Pro West did was much cleaner. From the mounting beams trimmed even with the panels to all the connections points hidden under the panel, the final product was excellent. They also installed a sub panel in my garage, which also turned out excellent. I would recommend Pro West to anyone looking for solar panel installation.

The crew did all the electrical work for my hot tub. They ran into a small challenge but worked through it real time and delivered a great final product at a reasonable price. Thanks Josh and crew.

We have had Pro West perform a variety of jobs for us - solar panels, light fixtures, etc. - and have appreciated their knowledge, approachability, friendliness, and quality of work. Recently we had to get two fixtures replaced and Mitchell not only replaced the two broken fixtures, but took time to quickly look at the other similar fixtures to ensure they were 'sealed'/protected from the elements. Appreciated it!

I’m very satisfied with Pro West on the installation of a home EV charger. They attended my request very quickly, presented the different approaches and discussed the pros and cons of each one with me. The installer came on time and did a very professional work for about 4 hours until finished upon technical satisfaction. I tested it and worked just fine. The city's inspector came a few days later and approved the installation. I highly recommend this company for its accuracy, efficiency and kindness

Service and response time from this team was fantastic! Joey and Henry were efficient and effective with troubleshoot and the resolve for the electrical needs at the house. We look forward to working with them for our future solar project and hot tub projects. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Things you want to know about Solar Panels

Best energy solution

The best energy solution depends on several factors, including your specific needs. Our Team is here to help answer any and all of your questions.

Expert Technical Support Team

At Pro West Solar Systems, our technical support team consists of expertly trained solar solution members.

Yes, solar panels can be worth it in Edmonton, considering the city’s ample sunlight during the summer and potential savings on electricity bills. Edmonton in fact is the second sunniest city in Alberta giving us a huge solar advantage. Government incentives, net metering policies, and environmental benefits also make them a viable option. However, the decision depends on factors like installation costs, energy consumption, and your long-term plans. Assessing these aspects will help determine if solar panels are a good investment for you. Get in contact with the team at Pro West Solar to discuss all your options.

As of 2022, the average cost to install an entire solar system in Alberta after rebates could typically range from $20,000 to $30,000 CAD for a residential property. However, the exact cost can vary depending on factors such as the size of the system, type of solar panels, inverter technology, and installation complexity. At Pro West Solar Systems, we provide personalized quotes and assessments to ensure you get an accurate estimate tailored to your specific energy needs and budget. Our team is committed to helping you harness the power of solar energy efficiently and cost-effectively for a sustainable future.

Absolutely! In Alberta, you can sell excess electricity generated by your solar panel system back to the grid through a process called net metering. This means that when your solar panels produce more electricity than your home consumes, the surplus energy is fed back into the grid, and you receive credits or compensation from your utility company. Net metering allows you to not only offset your electricity costs but also contribute clean energy to the community, promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly future. At Pro West Solar Systems, we can guide you through the net metering process and help you make the most of your solar investment.
